Just outside Willowmore lies Poortjie, a Private Game Reserve. It is ideal for Karoo Farm Holidays or even for visiting businessmen who require self catering accommodation in Willowmore but in a tranquil environment.

The back of the farm borders on the main road to the Baviaans Kloof. A perfect stay over before you venture into this world heritage site.

The Game Reserve offers visitors a variety of activities ranging from game drives (guided or self drive), hiking, bird watching, fossil viewing and swimming in a cement dam. A Karoo experience Golf Course is located at the main gate.

Accommodation is offered in 3 well appointed Self Catering Guest Cottages namely the Hunter's House, The Magistrate's House and The Jail House. These houses cater for a range of accommodation preferences.

Self contained camping is allowed at certain places on the farm. Helicopter fly-inns are possible - Please enquire.
